Impact Defense’s 8 mil exterior-mounted material is the first layer sunlight meets, helping suppress heat before it reaches and heats the glass surface. Interior-installed tint can only manage solar energy after it has passed through and warmed the glass. Exterior protection helps keep that heat from building at the source.
