00:00–00:19 Good morning, everyone. So this is what I woke up to today on a reasonably cold Canadian morning. And I’m about to check out my Impact Defense windshield film. So the big question I always get from everyone is, what do you do in the winter? And how do you scrape it? So we are about to find out.
00:19–00:36 My theory is that combined with the hydrophobic coating that it has, and the ceramic coating that we supply to put on it, it should be a lot easier. For what it’s worth, I scrape with a Bondo scraper, but that’s because I’ve been tinting windows for a long time and they’re always lying around my car and I always lose my snowbrush.
00:36–01:22 But so far from what I can see, it’s not too bad. There’s basically just little ice pellets underneath. So I’m just grabbing it, scraping it off. If you look at the bottom where the wipers are, it’s pretty icy down there. You can kind of hear it. But it seems to come right off, so I really have no concerns. I’m going to keep checking it on colder and more icy days, but it certainly seems a lot easier to get the snow off than without it. So far, so good. We’ll keep you posted.
